Our Mission
Our mission is to create and establish interdisciplinary standards, best practice guidelines, educational platforms, and economic constructs which optimize outcome and the safety of patients undergoing Non-OR procedures requiring the collaborative efforts of interventional medical proceduralists and anesthesiologists.
Our Goal
Our goal is to improve patient outcomes by promoting interdisciplinary perspective, collaborative practice and inclusive, broad-based resident education which addresses the realities of overlapping competencies and concerns in the context of the medical complexities and economic constraints of today’s health care market.
The Future
The future is here: medical interventions now pose acceptable and effective alternatives to surgery in many areas of medicine. The scope of anesthesia practice routinely extends beyond the Operating Room and the acuity of interventional medicine patients is growing.
